Controllerise: Taking Over Atlanta One 'Slice' at a Time

Slice Atlanta on Thursday nights has become the new haven for left of center Hip-Hop Heads that love beats & anime. STLNDRMS, MICxSIC, and Gumbo Soul Music are just a few of the familiar faces you'll see on the scene, but there's much more below the surface.

Now on their 10th Controllerise Vibe Session the event has showcased numerous producers such as Leem Lizzy, Blk Cubes, Maurice Daniel, and many more in addition to DJ's like Empress Rah that are making waves in the city. Each session is themed after a different anime that runs simultaneously inside the venue and on the live stream, weaving back and forth between the performer and the show.

The event runs with no cover charge in the heart of the city, making it extremely accessible to those with smaller budgets or just anyone that wants to have a genuinely good time without having to break the bank during the week. It starts at 8pm and runs til about 2am strong, so no matter what you have set up for Friday - you can make it out.

Controllerise 10 is this Thursday, July 27th and the selected theme will be Ghost in The Shell: a certified cult classic! Be sure to gather some friends and have a good time at Slice.
